Getting Your Data Securely Into clario®

The first step within clario® is uploading your data files using any software application that supports Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP)
Note: If you do not have a SFTP application, you can download FileZilla, a free SFTP application here.

FileZilla config

  • Once installed (or on your existing SFTP application), connect as follows:
        • HOST: sftp.clarioanalytics.com
        • USER ID: <clario user id>
        • PASSWORD: <clario user password>
        • PORT: 22
  • Once connected:
        • Browse to the local (source) folder containing the data you wish to securely transfer
        • Browse to the /toClario target folder
        • Select and drag data files from the source folder /toClario
        • (Note: You can SFTP either compressed and/or uncompressed data files into the /toClario folder, although compressed files are preferred for large data sets.)
        • Once the file transfer is complete, you may close your SFTP application
  • What happens next?
        • An automated script picks the files up, uncompresses them (if necessary) and moves them to the client’s internal file system location
        • When you log in to clario and create a new or open an existing project and select Add Data to Project, you will see the file(s) you securely transferred
        • Once you select the file and click ‘OK’, a message is sent to your clario inbox confirming the file has been moved.
