Overview
The clario® On-Demand Analytic Platform is designed to make data transformation and statistical analysis processes achievable to the everyday user, including you. The ease of selecting and connecting nodes are the first steps to running a workflow in order to achieve results in the form of data files, spreadsheets and/or written reports.
Getting Started
- Getting Your Data Securely Into clario®
- The first step to each project is to upload data into clario using any application that supports Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP)
- Data files must be either a delimited (valid delimiters are: comma, semi-colon, pipe, double-pipe, TAB, or SPACE) or fixed-length flat file.
- User Interface Overview
- clario uses a visual programming model where data streams are connected to nodes to create powerful workflows for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and other data analytics functions
- User Interface Overview describes the five distinct sections that comprise the clario palette
- Creating a New Project
- clario allows you to create multiple projects to securely house and share data, workflows and run history
- Within a client organization, projects can be shared for simplified collaboration, or access can be limited to a select few
- Adding Data to a Project
- Once a project has been created, you can associate data from the files uploaded into SFTP
- You can then read the file into a workflow as a data stream
- Once a project has been created, you can associate data from the files uploaded into SFTP
- Building a Workflow
- Workflows are comprised of a data stream and at least 1, but more often multiple, nodes
- At its most basic, workflows are comprised of a data input node, data processing nodes, and data output node
- Each clario workflow must begin with a Read File node, and often ends with a Write File node
- Nodes contain powerful functions and can be configured to perform a vast array of data manipulation and statistical analysis operations
- clario workflows can be saved and reused for high-frequency tasks
- Workflows are comprised of a data stream and at least 1, but more often multiple, nodes
- Submitting a Run
- Once workflows are created, you can click the Run Workflow button and let clario do its work
- Each run result, including the configured workflow, is saved until you delete it
- Run results are readily available in a convenient results menu located directly on a results node face
- Additionally, many results can be exported as a spreadsheet for convenience
- Viewing Run Details
- The run stats area displays all of the detailed execution steps of the workflow and the processing row count statistics for each step
- Upon completion, the execution log and individual node results menus are made available
